Action Call for Parents: Take a Stand in Washington, Oregon & Idaho

Partners for Ethical Care (PEC), Advocates Protecting Children (APC), and a group of local parents have filed suit against the State of Washington for passing into law SB 5599, which encourages children to run away from home to a State youth shelter to obtain “gender affirming care.” This “treatment” consists of dangerous puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries to alter a child’s appearance. Under the new law, when a child leaves home in search of these “services,” the State is under no obligation to notify the parents of the whereabouts or condition of their child. If you are a parent in the states of Washington, Oregon, or Idaho and would like to join the lawsuit, please contact Schaer Jaffe, LLP by calling 202-787-1060 or emailing info@schaerr-jaffe.com.
